How Ekjaa Works?

  1. Ekjaa collaborates with Regional Allies, NGO’s who work in rural areas and have shown their credibility and MFI’s or Social investing projects which require funds and are working at the grass root level.
  2. Regional Allies provide Ekjaa with the projects or profiles of the people who require funding which are verified by Ekjaa volunteers.
  3. Donor’s or Lenders can browse and do the needful where they’d like to. One can donate or lend as low as Rs.100.
  4. Ekjaa disburses the funds as they are collected to the regional allies.
  5. As the funds are disbursed NGO’s would start giving bi-weekly updates online. Ekjaa volunteers would also pay a visit to the project site once a month.
  6. As the entrepreneur starts repaying the loan to the MFI or SI, Ekjaa starts repaying the loan back to the lenders.
  7. Ekjaa provides volunteers for NGO projects and helps the entrepreneur if any business consultation is required (by B-school students or volunteer professionals)
